Sri Jasmit Singh Gujral, Managing Director & CEO holds a bachelors degree in Commerce and Management from Aligarh Muslim University and has done advanced managment program from Kellogg Business School, Chicago and Indian School of Business, Hyderabad and Executive Managment program from IIM Ahemdabad.
He has more than 23 years of experience in Financial Services, Marketing and General Business Management. He has been with Shriram for over 2 decades. Prior to becoming the MD & CEO of Shriram General Insurance, he was the CEO of Shriram Overseas Finance Ltd.
Shri GS Sundararajan, Director
GS Sundararajan ,an Ex-Citibanker and more recently CEO and Managing Director of Fullerton India (wholly owned subsidiary of Temasek,Singapore) has joined Shriram Capital as Managing Director. Mr.Sundararajan, during his two decades of experience ,created and successfully ran businesses in Asset Based Finance, SME ,Retail and Rural sectors.GS Sundararajan's experience in banking and Financial Services is expected to significantly augment Shriram's senior Management and facilitate the group's growth in the current businesses and forays into related areas.
Shri G. Anantharaman, Director
Sri G. Anantharaman, Director joined the Board of Shriram General Insurance Company Limited in the year 2008 and is also the Chairman of Audit Committee of the Board. He belongs to Indian Revenue Services (Income Tax) and before retiring as a Chief Commissioner Income Tax. He was also an Ex SEBI whole time Member.
Shri Mathew Verghese, Director
Mr. Mathew Verghese, a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering, started his career with Indian Aluminium Company Ltd. and subsequently joined The New India Assurance Co Ltd as Regional Engineer in 1967. From the year 1981 to 1985 Mr. Mathew was heading “New India’s” operation in Thailand and subsequently was transferred to General Insurance Corporation of India ( GIC Re ) and later he was posted as Managing Director and Principal Officer of Kenindia Assurance Company, Nairobi, Kenya and there he set up the subsidiary company of Kenindia Assurance Co., in Tanzania.
On his Retirement from "New India" in 2003, he was selected by Govt. of India and posted as Member - Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA).
Shri D.V. Ravi, Director
Sri D.V. Ravi, holds a bachelor's degree in commerce from St. Joseph's college, Bangalore University and a post graduate degree diploma in management from Institute of Rural Management, Anand, Gujarat He has more than twenty years of experience in the field of planning, business process re- engineering and organizational change management. Further he is on the board of various other Shriram group of companies. He is also a director and co-founder of Take Solutions Limited.
Shri C.M. Dixit, Director
Sri C.M. Dixit is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and commerce graduate from University of Pune. He joined the oldest and the most reputed pune based Chartered Accountancy Firm M/s. G.D. Apte & Co., Chartered Accountants as a partner on 2nd February, 1976. He is very actively associated in the audits of big Public Sector Undertakings, Public and Private Limited Companies, Nationalised and Scheduled Banks, Life Insurance Corporation, Co-operative Banks, etc.
Mr. Merrick Oeschger, Director
Mr. Merrick Oeschger is a representative of Sanlam Ltd. Joint venture partner of Shriram General Insurance Limited. He has more than 20 years experience in the General Insurance Industry and started his career with Mutual & Federal Insurance company, were he served on the executive from 2002. He joined the Sanalm group in February 2009 as Chief Operating Officer, New & External Markets, Santam. He has also served on the boards of several companies in South and Southern Africa.
Mr. Hendri M. Nigrini Director
Mr. Hendri M. Nigrini is a representative of Sanlam Limited, joint venture partner of Shriram General Insurance Co. Ltd. Mr. Nigrini has more than 22 years of experience in non-life insurance industry in South Africa. Presently he is wroking with Santam Limited a non-life insurance Company of Sanlam Limited as Executive Head-Risk Services. He has also served on the Board of several Companies.
